Shepherd - Young - Male
Adoptable Medium

January 2020 update by foster mom.

Penske was rescued from Alabama, he came to his foster home weighing in at around 45 pounds. He was very malnourished and incredibly skinny. His weight is now up over 65 pounds and we expect a little more as he gains more muscle. He is a big boy but don’t let that intimidate you. He is a giant teddy bear that is hoping to find his forever family. We believe he would thrive with either another puppy playmate or an active family. He is still working on his overall manners and not pulling on the leash but great headway is being made . He does very well with his foster siblings and other dogs that he meets. We expect him to do well with children as you can pull on him, be in his face etc and he doesn’t mind at all. However, he still has a puppy attitude in the sense that he doesn’t realize his size. He is a giant goofball and is all around a good natured dog.

Very handsome, blond shepherd, about 9/10 months old. People friendly and other dog friendly. Gets a long great with other dogs as soon as he meets them.

He was picked up as a stray. parents unknown.

Adoption fee $325
